 | Kyotoshi and Soshika's parents, now deceased. They were both quite nice people, known for helping their neighbors and working long hours when needed be. They raised their children well and although since both parents worked they could not always spend as much time with their kids as they wanted to, they tried their best. They were fond of taking the family on camping trips in the summer. Both parents were Southern Hekshanians, although Mr. Lypha carried a fairly rare southerner gene for course hair, which he passed on to both his children. He was also of a slight build, which also passed to both his children. Over all, Soshika's attitude takes after her mother- more serious, more down to earth. Kyotoshi is not so much like his father but rather his grandfather, who died two years prior to the murders (of old age). There is no history of abuse, neglect, violence or drugs/alcohol problems in the Lypha family past. Their lives were ended during the ill-organized occupation attempt of North Tek which turned into a massacre. Both parents were killed by a gunshot wound to the head. They were in their house, in their kitchen at the time. Both children were made to watch.
